Client Reviews

I came to Rob with a fear of public speaking that was truly debilitating- panic, shortness of breath, sweaty palms, and worst of all, worrying for days and sometimes even weeks before any event in which I might have to say a few words.  Rob created a space where I felt comfortable describing those moments of panic, and he also offered me some strategies and some baby steps that I could take between sessions.  I cannot say that public speaking is my favorite activity now- it’s not- but I feel like I have developed a giant tool kit.  I was recently able to give a toast at my son’s wedding with 150 guests in attendance- a big win for me.

“Rob started working with our son three years ago, when he was in 6th grade. At the time, he was struggling with anxiety in general, but also in relation to his joy of running track. It was hard to see him unable to find happiness with something he loves. Rob helped him create several strategies for coping with his feelings and thoughts that he uses frequently for both track and other challenging moments in life.”

“Our son says he really enjoyed working with Rob— he’s friendly and easy to talk to. Over the time that our son worked with Rob, we saw him learn to control his emotional extremes in a way that helped him enjoy his tennis so much more.”
